At Crossings Community Church we recently walked through a series called Gospel Engagement . We took something that often feels very daunting and made it extremely simple and practical. We were reminded that our lives are meant to ‘leak’ the realities of the gospel constantly. The first step was that we challenged ourselves to make people aware that we love Jesus.
We often feel like our friends, coworkers, and neighbors know we are ‘Christians’ but we feel this way just because they see that we are good people. There are a lot of good people who are not being transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. So, we need to let the most important thing in our life (the gospel) lead out authentically in our every day lives.
If approached appropriately, social media should be a megaphone which pronounces the things we value and celebrate.
